Exhibition Introduction
The Indonesia International Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Ventilation Exhibition (Refrigeration & HVAC Indonesia) is held annually and organized by the renowned exhibition company PPI. It is the largest and most influential refrigeration and air conditioning exhibition in Indonesia. After years of development, the exhibition has become a crucial platform for numerous global enterprises to engage in technological exchange, trade, brand promotion, and deepening customer relationships within the HVAC&R industry. It also represents an excellent opportunity for companies to capture the Indonesian market, expand into ASEAN, and establish a global presence.
The previous edition was successfully held from September 24-26, 2025. It brought together 287 brand enterprises from 17 countries and regions worldwide, including China, South Korea, Malaysia, UAE, India, Germany, Japan, and Italy. Notable participating companies included DAIKIN, Frascold, Bitzer, ebm-papst, PHILIPS, CAREL, Midea, TCL, Sakura, Snowman, Jiefeng, Shangneng, Binglun, and others. Among them, 91% of exhibitors secured international orders during the event and expressed willingness to renew their participation. The exhibition attracted 13,284 professional buyers from 26 countries, with 96% having clear purchasing intentions.
China-Indonesia Trade
Indonesia, with approximately 281 million people, ranks as the most populous country in Southeast Asia. China and Indonesia are important economic and trade partners for each other. As the world's largest developing country and Southeast Asia's largest economy, the two nations have seen continuously deepening economic and trade cooperation over the 75 years since establishing diplomatic relations, demonstrating strong "complementarity" and "growth potential." Notably, since 2021, the scale of China-Indonesia trade leaped from the 500 billion level to the 800 billion level, broke through the trillion mark three years later, and increased by 2.7 times over the past decade (Chinese exports grew 2.3 times, imports grew 3.4 times). According to China's General Administration of Customs data, from January to October 2025, bilateral trade reached $89.2 billion, a year-on-year increase of 4.2%. China remains Indonesia's largest trading partner, largest source of imports, and a major export destination.
