Malaysia Market Analysis:
Census 2021 Sabah has a population of 5,700,040, making it the third most populous region in Malaysia after Selangor and Johor. Sabah has one of the highest population growth rates in Malaysia due to the high number of illegal immigrants entering from the southern provinces of the Philippines. Farmed fisheries will rise to RM3.56mil a year from RM238mil currently. More than 150 scheme participants have received funding under the first phase of the scheme, and thousands more young people will benefit from the scheme. So far, potential areas have been selected for the development of the project, including Guarabangyu, Guda and Guda Mauro.
Fisheries in Malaysia include fishing and fish farming. In fishing, most of the fish in the sea is caught and most of the fish in rivers is raised in captivity. Most fish raised in captivity are freshwater fish because they are easy to raise in lakes.
